    ATY Drama Center is pleased to announce our September-October Classes!
    Saturdays, Sept 11 - Oct 2

    ACTING FOR TV & MOVIES 10:00-11:30am

    Local actor-technician Patrick Killoran introduces youth performers to the unique requirements of Television and Movie Acting. See your face on screen in this fun and interactive class. Course material can include: screen test audition preparation and techniques, cold readings, acting for commercials, conducting and presenting yourself like a pro, and more! Major motion pictures are coming to film in Alaska and many of them will be hiring local talent. Do you have the skills to break into pictures? If you have any interest in film and TV acting, this class is a must!

    Ages 8 and up Tuition: $55 Regular/$49.50 ATY Member
    Materials Fee: $10

    JUGGLING & MOVEMENT FOR CIRCUS 12:00 - 1:30pm
    Taught by popular entertainer Jim Kerr

    Have you ever wanted to run off and join the circus, or hone your physical comedy abilities? Juggling is a great skill to have in your back pocket. Juggling enhances coordination, builds self confidence, teaches you to think on your feet and gives people something exciting - or funny - to look at when you are the center of attention - on stage and off. Learn a new dance with gravity - juggling!

    Ages 6 and up Tuition: $55 Regular/$49.50 ATY Member

    MAKEUP MAGIC for THEATRE & FILM 1:30 - 3:00pm

    You'll drop off your student, and pick-up... an animal - a starlet - an elderly - a doll - a zombie! With stage makeup, your only limit is your imagination. In this class, Instructor Ashely Colver-Jenkins will demonstrate and guide participants in hands-on classes featuring popular techniques in Stage Makeup application. Learn the tricks professionals use to transform a face into any character or to be seen from close-up to the back of the theatre. Just in time to practice for October 31st; you'll be the star of the stage as well as your Halloween parties!

    Ages 6 and up
    Please note: students 6-7 years of age must BWAP (be with a parent/adult helper)
