The ATY JTF Travel Troupe is the best of the best that ATY offers. JTF West is an exciting opportunity to work hard, meet and work with Broadway professionals, win awards, and travel with ATY to the biggest celebration of Musical Theater for youth.

Not everyone will be selected. Sign up for auditions by August 10, 2026.

AUDITIONS
Sunday, August 16 from 2:00-5:00PM
Ages 8-18

Actors will rotate through a series of auditions including Music, Acting, Dance, and Ensemble.

• Prepare a musical theater song 60 seconds long from the show “Dare to Dream, JR”. Backing tracks will be provided.

• Prepare a one-minute monologue. Must bring a print out of the monologue for review.

• Dress to Dance.

• Stay for the entire 3 hours.

JTF Travel Troupe Requirements
Each team member must have participated in at least one fully staged musical at ATY (mainstage or summer conservatory) in the last 2 years.

JTF WEST REHEARSALS
Sundays 2:00-5:00PM with added rehearsals closer to festival.

JTF WEST DATES
February 5-7, 2027 in Sacramento, California

Cast and parents will also be responsible for travel, hotel, and air fare accommodations to and from Junior Theatre Festival. There is no fee or registration required to audition. Payment plans are available. For more information, visit the LEARN MORE button.
