Audition for Advanced Conservatories!
Advanced Musical Theatre Conservatory
Students will be accepted into Advanced Musical Theatre Conservatory by audition only.
To audition, please first register for Musical Theatre Conservatory. The director would like you to then prepare a 32 bar cut of a pop song, the short dance audition material, and your favorite joke. Please be sure to slate your name, age, and which Queen you identify with the most at the top of each video. (Ideally, your song and joke will be one video, and your dance audition will be a second video.)

Audition videos must be submitted no later than May 1st.
Actors will be notified of their acceptance by May 10th. Actors who audition but are not cast in Advanced Musical Theatre Conservatory will still have a reserved spot in Musical Theatre Conservatory and will be cast in one of the other two fabulous shows!
Advanced Acting Conservatory
Students will be accepted into Advanced Acting Conservatory by application only.
To audition, please first register for Acting Conservatory. The director would then like for you to prepare a one minute dramatic monologue of your choosing. Audition videos must be submitted to aty@alaskatheatreofyouth.org no later than June 1st.
Auditions should be recorded and submitted to aty@alaskatheatreofyouth.org. Further audition instructions and a selection of monologue options can be found HERE.
Please note that actors do not have to use one of these monologues. These are options for folks who don’t have a monologue already prepared, or who are seeking new material.
