Broadway in a Day
We’re excited to bring back our popular ASD in-service day program, Broadway in a Day—a full day of theatre games, activities, costumes, movement, and musical exploration centered around one popular Broadway show! Each session also includes guest artists from our community and opportunities to connect via Zoom with Broadway professionals working onstage and behind the scenes.
When: ASD in-service days and select school holidays
Ages: Vary by session; please check the age recommendation for each event
Cost: $50
Schedule: Drop-off at 9:00 a.m.; pick-up between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.
What to Bring: Lunch, snacks, water, and shoes that stay securely on your feet—no Crocs, sandals, or slip-ons
Location: ATY Depot, 322 E. Fireweed Lane. Please enter through the back loading dock.

Broadway in a Day: Phantom of the Opera
Explore the mystery and spectacle of Broadway’s longest-running musical! Make your own Phantom mask, learn music and choreography from “Masquerade,” work on vocal technique, and tackle technical theatre challenges like, “How do we get the chandelier down from the ceiling?”
Ages 8–14
Macbeth
Enter the dark and mysterious world of Shakespeare’s Macbeth! Students will explore stage combat, uncover the spooky superstitions and curses of the theatre, sharpen their acting skills, and study Shakespeare’s famous tragedy.
Ages 11+
Suffs
Celebrate Election Day with Suffs! Students will explore the history of women’s suffrage, discover how people create effective protests, experience the powerful rhythm of people coming together through body percussion, and explore clothing from the era in a hands-on costume workshop. Get into the voting spirit with Suffs!
Ages 10–16
Parental guidance is suggested for students who would like to listen to the full soundtrack.
The Play That Goes Wrong
Explore the hilarious world of the popular “Goes Wrong” series! Students will experiment with physical comedy, improvisation, and devising as they create their own scenes filled with missed cues, collapsing scenery, troublesome props, and theatrical disasters. What could possibly go wrong?
